Postpartum Food Support

Caring for others through food is something I hold close to my heart. After discovering the ancient tradition of postpartum confinement, I was inspired to create nourishing, healing recipes for loved ones navigating the early days of motherhood. I’m especially passionate about using specific ingredients to help new mothers restore their strength, find balance, and feel truly cared for during this transformative time.

Below, you’ll find an overview of my approach—plus a sample menu I recently created for a client, Dee.

Nourishing new mums

Nutritious, comforting meals to support you through the early days of parenthood—or anytime during your Fourth Trimester. Rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, our dishes are thoughtfully crafted with protein and iron-rich ingredients, along with warming soups and broths to help restore energy, support hormonal balance, and strengthen immunity.

We’ll work with you to create a bespoke package that suits your needs. 💛

The Journey

For Dee’s postpartum journey, I created a menu filled with warming, nutrient-rich meals to support recovery, restore energy, and promote overall well-being. Ingredients like ginger and turmeric help reduce inflammation, while bone broths provide collagen and minerals for healing. Red dates and goji berries are known to boost circulation and replenish vitality.

Dee’s menu included:

  • Red Date & Goji Berry Tea – to support immunity and restore energy

  • Beef Bone Broth – rich in collagen for postpartum healing

  • Chicken & Ginger Broth – warming and gentle on digestion

  • Turmeric Lentil & Coconut Daal – nourishing and anti-inflammatory

  • Slow-Cooked Beef Bolognese – iron-rich for energy replenishment

  • Chicken & Coconut Curry – packed with healthy fats for hormone balance

  • Chicken Soup – deeply nourishing and restorative

  • Beef & Barley Stew – hearty and strengthening

Each dish was designed to bring comfort, nourishment, and balance during this special time.
